MOVA NETWORK's program for establishing debate as a permanent practice in Brazilian schools: methodology, teacher training, clubs, tournaments and an inter-school league. In development, with a pilot rollout planned for the network's next phases.
The proposal
More than a tournament: a methodology
An isolated tournament happens once and goes away. The MOVA Debate League establishes culture: the school receives the MOVA methodology, teacher training, coach preparation, teaching materials, student guides, a calendar and topics.
With the foundation in place, debate clubs and internal tournaments are born. Next, the school joins the inter-school league, with certification for students and educators.

Debating teaches you to think fast, truly listen, defend a position with evidence and switch sides without losing rigor. It is direct training in critical thinking, communication and responsible leadership, inside the school routine.
